Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

I am a graduate student in the Master of Arts in Art Therapy Program (MAAT)
at Albertus Magnus College conducting research in order to complete the
thesis requirement of my program. The purpose of my research is to gain a
better understanding of self-harm and artwork. Participation involves
completing two pieces of artwork, writing a paragraph about each artwork,
and sending the artworks and paragraphs through the dshresearch.com webpage. Due to the
nature of self-harm, certain issues may arise. If you are having distressing
feelings, please find a crisis helpline in your area on
http://suicidehotlines.com/international.html .  This study may be
beneficial to you in that you may learn something new about yourself and you
may enjoy doing artwork.

Your participation is completely voluntary and you are free to refuse or
stop at any time without penalty. All information collected will be kept
strictly confidential. Results will be analyzed and reported in aggregate;
your individual responses will not be reported.

Participants must be 18 or older.
