Friction burns- where you scratch the same place on your skin until it gets really raw- are what I started SI with. I was wondering how common they were. Does anyone else here do this?

1 year () (Permalink)Yeah, it was rather satisfying at the time. I have a pretty long scar on my left hand from it.
I find it doesn't feel as great as it used to, niether does friction burning with my nail, so I dropped this method. Although, if I didn't have absolutely anything else and really needed to cut, I'd more than likely use it. Except the previous cuts I got from it had gotten rather infected.

1 year () (Permalink)I know what you mean about the infections. I did it for about 7 months and everyone I did would take a month and a half to heal all the way because of how infected they got. Most of my worst scars are from that time.
