I hate school.

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

I spent 2 hours doing a homework assignment that should have taken 20 minutes.  My parents won't bother me if I'm doing homework, or else my precious grades might drop. I don't usually have much homework, but thankfully I was able to blame it on my new Biology teacher.  I like him, he actually teaches, unlike our old teacher.  And he challenges us.  I like that, because school work helps me get my mind off everything else that's happening to me.  That's why I have such good grades, I put all my focus into every assignment in hopes that my mind may venture from all the shit.   The teachers don't know this, they think I love school, that I love science and math, because I have straight A's. I hate school.  Most of all, science and math.  My dad says I'll be an engineer because I'm so good at them.  I've told him I want to be a writer, or a singer.  He says I'm too good at math and science to do something so stupid.  My dreams are stupid.  Isn't that lovely.

Thank you!

Haha, I do a lot of things to make my dad mad.  I dyed my hair because I knew he'd hate it, and he now refuses to look at me. So, I totally agree, but it just makes me mad sometimes how he thinks he knows what's best for me, when clearly, he doesn't.
