please help me
ive been trying to stop SI-ing... i actually dont feel guilty about it at all (my friends are worried). ive been trying to use a rubberband bracelet but it doesnt seem to work very well. i didnt SI for one day and now i feel like im going to explode... can anyone suggest other type of coping methods i can try? any help would be very welcome. thank you.

2 years () (Permalink)Try holding an ice cube to your wrist. It hurts at first and does not leave any lasting damage. You can also try squeezing your fingers ( all four on one hand, squished together) with the stronger of your two hands. It hurts and does not sem to have any lasting damage.

2 years () (Permalink)There were times when I tried to stop S-I-ing myself to, but after a few days when I wasn't cutting. My wrist would well get tense, and everytime I hold it or just move it around. It would feel good, like I was cutting. When I feel like I have to cut I just hold it thightly and press down on my veins and the feeling would go away.

writing, using a marker (dont use permanent becuase they stain a little too much) to draw on myself what i would SI, colour in little kids colouring books (and going outside the lines), going out for a walk, making a list of why not to SI, making a list as to why i want to and then figuring out if it those really warrant marring myself for them,....ummm that's all I can think of right now....hope at least one of them makes it a tad easier

2 years () (Permalink)when you feel like cutting listen to music angry or slow kindoff. then write why you feel the need to cut write it anywhere.if your mad i Korn-comming undone will totally help. im 100% sure
