Bleeder

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

I come and sit beside you
And you sadly smile at me.
Your arms are covered up and crossed-
I know just what that means.
You pull a tack from off the wall
I tell you "put it back".
Eventually you do so,
But I hate when you do that!
I've told you how this hurts me,
You know we have a bond
So please, my friend, just stop this,
You can't let this go on.
I've tried to place a limit
On every cut you make
But everytime I see your scars,
It's like a huge mistake.
For every scar apon your skin,
There's a scar inside my soul.
You have to end this madness
Before it eats you whole!
I just wish you'd realize
Your blade's your fire feeder.
And you may be the cutter,
But I'm always the bleeder.
