The Darkness

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

It's calling to me,

The darkness... It's calling again,

Taking over me,

I have no control,

I must do what it says,

I try my hardest to ignore,

I don't listen,

It calls me weak,

Screaming all the things wrong with me,

Laughing at me,

"Why am I alive?" it says,

I should be punished,

Just pick up the knife, razor, or scissors if you're too scared,

"Are you too afraid?" it mocks me,

Knowing I am,

Shall I give in?

Do I have a choice?

Could I ever actually beat this?

Just one last time couldn't hurt.
