Forgotten

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

Nobody listens to a word I'm saying
They are laughing and making jokes
Can't they see me?
Can't they see the pain in my eyes?
Everyone is busy with their own lives
And no one sees that I have none.
They pretend to care,
but as soon as I come to them with a problem
they act as if I don't exist.

What would they do if I were gone?
Would they go on with their lives like nothing happened
Or would they stop, and see what happened,
what was wrong with me?
Would they care if I were gone?
Would they even notice?
Maybe they would. But after a while,
they wouldn't even know I once lived.
They wouldn't even know I existed
They would've forgotten me,
Just like they've forgotten me now.
I am forgotten...
