Mute
No matter what I say
It becomes music to the enemies ears
To take out of context
To configure it in a way that sounds
Tainted and misleading
I am now trapped within
I will only be able to speak
Through my eyes
In the book of Job 16:6
It reads; " Though I speak, my greif is not relieved: And if I remain silent, how am I eased?"
No one cares that I hurt
Not a soul on earth will listen
I grabbed a knife but instead
I illustrated these words in ink
I know what it means that way
But to you it is just ink on a page
Yet my words are mute

Misinterpretation
2 years () (Permalink)To an artist, words on paper are not meant for others to understand, but for yourself to express how you feel. People may misinterpret but thats what's interesting about words. There can be many different meanings people find for just one sentance, many different things people get from it and they can be far from what you wished to portray. The important thing is you got it off your chest, at least a little bit. Don't let people's opinions on your words get to you, instead, take a character analysis of the person who is bothering you and see what would make them take something so personally. Then maybe you can try to word things so they might understand it if thats what you really want. But taking it wrong is on them, you did your part and said what you needed to. I am proud of you for choosing to write in ink, rather than in blood, thats more then some can do.
