Breadcrumbs:
As She Bleeds
She bleeds it out, like toxins
All the regrets and passions
Until all she feels is numb
No love felt in this girl, trapped
Searching for a new way to be perfect
No more fashion magazines
She has her own view of beauty
Beauty in a thousand white lines
In a hundred red threads
Brushing her fair, fair skin
Beauty in black and blue blemish
In the pain of it all
She bleeds it out, like hatred
Everything the world struck her with
Heartbroken, and lost, and alone
She takes that thin, thin blade
So fragile, so small, so dangerous
It hurts, it pleasures, it pushes everything
Every pain, away, far away
Each breathe, a thousand needles
Striking against her porcelain heart
And her mind, constant with the thought
Of release from this heavy burden
Of the storm within her mind
Blasting against the walls
Raging to be freed
As she bleeds

Wow.
2 years () (Permalink)This made me want to cry. It really did. It expresses exactly how I feel when I cut. You know you're a wonderful poet when you can strike emotions at the very heart of a person.
absolutely amazing.
Live life, love life. And as long as you live, love yourself.
Blessed Be.
