Submitting A Name

I know that losing a loved one causes much pain, and my intention is not to instigate more pain. A message must be sent that self-injury is not just a fad or a simple problem, it affects the lives of millions of people, often in very painful ways. Perhaps, by raising awareness more people will wish to understand self-injury and accept it as an important issue in today's world. But, most importantly, this is to remember those loved ones we have lost.

I hate to have to include the following as it may sound harsh but it truly is not meant to come across that way. The individual whose name you are submitting has to have been a self-injurer and has to have died at their own hand (be it through self-injury or suicide). Submissions from those who are still alive but feel dead are not accepted. No submissions regarding a person who is alive will be accepted. Remember, there is always hope.
