The hospital hosts The Masters and Johnsons Treatment Program for Trauma Based Disorders. This is actually three programs: Traumatic Grief, Traumatic Stabilization and Trauma & Addiction. These programs are said to, amongst other things, specialize in the treatment of self-injury and focus on stabilizing out-of-control behaviors and emotions. There is also a focus on addictive-compulsive processes - which can tie in with self-injurious behavior.
The hospital also offers the Neurobehavior Program, which treats children 5 to 17 years of age. It covers a number of impulsive and agressive behaviors, including self-injury. It must be noted that this only includes severe or life-threatening self-injury.
The hospital also offers the Adolescent Psychiatric Program, which designed to treat teens, ages 13-17. These patients are experiencing serious behavioral, psychological, cognitive and/or chemical abuse problems, including self-injury.
Other programs include in-patient hospitalization for adults, as well as the Dual Diagnosis/Addiction program.
