Bracelets help hide.

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

I've mostly centralized my cuts to my left wrist, and not right in the center--off to the side a bit. I hide these with bracelets. I wear 4-5 bracelets on that hand every day; a wristband, friendship bracelets, hairties, beaded bracelets, etc. Nobody is any the wiser. Sometimes I'll accidentally leave my bracelets in gym--I have to take them off for class--and then I'll go to my next class, and I'll have to ask my teacher to let me run back down to the gym for them. I feel naked without them. Though I don't have any fresh cuts, and nobody in my classes know (one person in my school does, but still), I feel uncomfortable without hiding them.

same

I have that same feeling . I play soccer and i like to cut my left arm close to my wrist but not veins and they arent so deep i try to stop for a while and i cover them up with bracelets when i started to playing my games we cant wear braceltes which i had forgotten. i was going crazy i felt like people were going to grab my wrist and just scream or people were going to see my scars.that hurt my first game i felt so upset and just failed everyone. later  i started noticing people didnt notice but yet in the classroom i usually turn my arm or putting in my pocket when i dont have my bracelets and become very paranoid. As much as I avoid my arms now I do my thighs but were my shorts hide them.
