Do You Feel Pain When You Hurt Yourself?

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

Fisic Pain I suppose.

Most of the times, no. It depends a lot in the reason and the emotions I have in the moment. I can't do it without a reason just because I woke up this morning: "Yay, I want to burn myself", that way I can't take the pain of the cutting/burning.

Not always feel pain

I am a cutter. Although I haven't cut in 2 years, I started at age 11 and I am 36 now. The emotional outlet cutting provides you far out weighs any physical pain you can feel, otherwise why would we continue to do it?
