Yeah i feel it. I always feel the pain unless i'm so angry that i lose control. But most of the time i feel it. A few times i have dissociated and not fully felt it, but i always come back within a minute. I dissociate a lot in other situations, though.

What kind of pain?

I am in pain when I cut, but it's not from the cutting. I cut when I feel overwhelmed, and when I feel the sting of the knife or my nails or whatever it is , it seems to get better for some reason.  As of pain from the cutting, it's just a sting, I can hardly feel it.  I'm a self-injurer and I am bulimic as well.  I wish I could get better, but it's hard to admit to someone, I'm ashamed of what I do. But there's nothing else I feel that I can do.  My life is consumed with my need to get higher grades than even my 98 average, and in keeping my house clean and my body perfect, sometimes it's too much.
