I always use an x-acto, listen to depressing music, sometimes with candles and incense. I usually do it at the end of the day when my stuff is all done and I'm ready for some "me" time.
If you're interested in sharing poetry, artwork, personal/recovery stories, responses to questions about self-injury, short stories, articles, essays, opinion pieces, links to your videos on Youtube, etc. then consider adding it to the site. You do not have to be a member (though to add blog posts you do). It is not strictly limited to self-injury but can also be about related mental health issues you're struggling with or have struggled with in the past (mental illness, personality disorders, abuse, etc.).
