I really don't know. At first I only did it when I was really stressed, depressed or in panic. Not very often. The last month I've done it every day, mostly "to get it done with", I know I have to, so I might as well do it so I can go on to make other things, like studying. Some days I've tried not to, just to see what happens, but it just end up worse that way.
