Launching Point is a 501(c)3 charitable organization that serves as a self-injury support & resource center in Florham Park, NJ. We have a variety of supportive groups that will not only help you with every day living, but change the "inner you". At Launching Point, we offer Beyond Bandages, a self-injury support group that began in November of 2005; Celebrate Recovery, a 12 step faith based recovery program aimed at conquering any hurt, habit hang-up; Left Behind, a support group for those that lost a loved one to suicide and Inner Healing, prayer counseling.
It can be challenging to "change your behavior patterns" or "approach the road to recovery", so when you have experiences that are too hard to put into words, it helps when someone can identify with them without needing you to explain, which opens the door to feeling more hopeful and less isolated. Compassion, understanding, and patience, is a few of the first things you will experience at Launching Point! We offer a safe place to share, leaders who have experienced similar hurts, and opportunities for accountability partners.
All of our self-injury literature, resources, support groups, and programs are all available all at no cost.
