My name is Anna. I'm almost 22 years old.
In a few years, I will be starting the process toward becoming an ordained priest in the Episcopal Church. As a lady priest, I'll be in good company-- two of my personal heroes are chicks who rock the collar. I wouldn't be who I am today without either of them.
Right now, I'm in undergraduate school. I'm a Political Science major. My favorite classes so far have been Judicial Process and American Political Process.
I have a cat named Rowan. He's adorable, and unfortunately, he's acutely aware of that fact and uses it to his advantage.
I'm gay and proud of it. I believe in equality for all. Social justice is a very important issue to me.
I like a variety of music-- anything from Gregorian chant to hip-hop-- but I do not like music that degrades women or promotes injustice. My favorite song changes from day to day.
I love to read, write, play with my cat, spend time with the people I love, and be in nature.
As an Episcopalian, I am directed by my baptismal covenant to "seek and serve Christ in ALL persons, loving my neighbor as myself" and to "strive for justice and peace on the earth and respect the dignity of EVERY human being." That basically governs how I treat people.
I am a self-injurer. Someday I'd love to be a whole, healed person, but for now I hope you'll take me as I am.
