About Me
Hi, I'm Katelyn and I'm 13 years old. I was born in Florida. I live with my mom and dad and my brother who'll be leaving for the military in August.
I have a good life. Good parents, good house, good education, good grades.
But recently things have been fallling apart. My parents are about to get in a divorce, I'm failing all of my classes and I almost got kicked out of my school.
Since I was ten years old, I have cut myself. But about a year ago, I visited a doctor and I was put on anti-depressants and had to stop cutting. My urges to SI have come back and for about 2 weeks, I have been burning myself with an eraser.
Girls at my school also have been starting rumors about me being fat and gross and disgusting, so I really been watching my weight and trying to skip meals. I know it's wrong but I can't help it.
All I want is to end the pain</3

I wish I had nothing to hide  I know, same here. I look back before I started self-harming. I used to be so happy and care free, No one deserves to feel like this. But unfortunately, people do. Now I have to hide blood, razors, pain and cuts. It's an everyday battle but hopefully some day we will both become stronger from this, so we can help other people. |

how did that go? my mom found out too but it was a few weeks ago from my school. I think when your parents find out it's like the worst pain ever. i knew i really hurt my mom :/ but now she is very understanding thank god

My mom wasn't angry, she was upset. But this was the second time she had figured out about my SI and it really hurts to tell her:(

It's a shameful feeling when others find out and you aren't the one who told them about SI. I hope you're OK and safe...
