    The role of attachment, self-esteem and personality in self-harm.

      The aim of this study is to investigate how attention, attachment, self-esteem and personality traits are related to self-harm type behaviours. If you decide to participate in this study; you will be asked to complete a number of questionnaires which ask about your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. You will also be asked to complete a brief arithmetic task, and then read a number of scenarios and answer some questions afterwards. This should take no longer than 25 minutes.

      This research project has been reviewed and approved by the Research Ethics Committee at Sheffield Hallam University.Please note that this study contains questions and discussion about self-harm, which some may find distressing and/or triggering

      Over 18s only.
